Through the years Affordables has become the go-to store for locals and travelers alike who enjoy comfort without compromising on style. We believe that every woman has her own style that tells her story. We are proud to be part of bringing apparel and accessories to help tell those stories and empower her belief in herself.
Founded in 1969, a true South Carolina original, Affordables first opened its doors as Lowell’s in downtown Charleston offering modern trends in apparel and accessories. In 2012, Affordables was purchased by Lyndon Amick and his wife Melanie. Today the company has five stores throughout South Carolina. Our mission remains the same, to offer an incredible selection of handpicked women’s apparel and accessories at an affordable price while providing each visitor to our store with the best possible shopping experience.
Our loyalty program provides our customers with advance access to our semi annual sales, special birthday coupons and members only sale days and much more. We are keenly aware of the many choices that are available for shopping and designed our program to show our appreciation for our customers’ loyalty.
For our customers who do not live within easy access to one of our stores, we offer phone shopping and for our iPhone users we also offer Face-Time shopping. If you see something on our website or our Facebook page that intrigues you we welcome you to call any one of our stores and we’ll be happy to help you shop and will ship your purchases.
